Technology Partners is currently in the implementation phase of an NGN-Ericsson project in Iraq to provide a national wire fixed line system of 500,000 lines using the Ericsson NGN technology (Next Generation Network). The access part of system is enabled by Ericsson / Marconi equipment called IP MSAN (Multi service access node) EDA2530.
The Technology Partners contract also includes the operation and maintenance of the OSS system which will monitor the performance of the network.
