An 18 year telecommunications and Internetworking veteran, Omar Barzanji started his career in Los Angeles with Biocom Inc, one of the early innovators of wireless telemetry in medical applications. In 1988 as a founder and engineering manager of Cortronix Inc. developed one of the first Cellular Data Telemetry devices used in Emergency Medical Services.
Omar joined Cisco Systems in 1991 as a Network Engineer, then moved to sales as the MENA Regional Manager for Wellfleet Communications. In 1993 Wellfleet became Bay Networks and was later acquired by Nortel.
He continued the passion for early stage startups with the establishment of MENA operations for Madge Networks in 1996, then the leader in Token Ring, Ethernet Switching and ATM technology. Madge's regional office was the seed for the formation of the Dubai-based Technology Partners, a technology consulting and business development and integration company targeting the MENA Region. From the beginning, Technology Partners' focus was to introduce leading early stage, innovative technologies to the Middle East Market such as Tropos Networks, Pepwave, PetroCosm, World Wide Packets, Amino Communications, Allied Telesyn and Sitara Networks. Technology Partners continues to benefit from Omar's wide international sales and business development experience as well as his 16 year track record of general management.
Following the regime change in his native Iraq, Omar established an operating division in that country in the summer of 2003 to serve in the Iraqi Technology and Telecommunications reconstruction. The Iraq ICT Integration Division has since grown to become the largest of the 3 TP business units.
Omar holds a BSc. Honours degree in Biomedical Electronics from The University of Salford, UK and a Graduate Degree in Business and Management from UCLA Anderson Graduate School of Business in the United States.
Kenneth joined Technology Partners in 2008 to lead the technical teams and to contribute to the strategic technology direction of the company. With over 20 years of experience in the Telecom and ICT domains and related technical disciplines, he brings experience in consulting and technical leadership, strategic technology planning, and delivering innovative technology solutions to the telecommunications and service provider industry.
He was previously with Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du) where he was a trusted adviser to executive and strategic industry decision makers, with a focus on securing customer loyalty in converged telecommunication infrastructure and services.
Roy brings over 25 years' experience in the computer industry and has held various positions in technology product development, sales, marketing and business development. He has served on the Board of Directors of several startup companies.
Most recently, Roy was one of the first employees of Tropos Networks, the Silicon Valley startup that introduced the concept of municipal wireless networks seven years ago. With over 800 customers in 35 countries, Tropos is the undisputed market leader in municipal wireless systems. Roy has taken a major role in the sales, marketing and deployment of this networking technology for Technology Partners.
Originally from England, Roy brings many years of operating experience in the IT and Software Development industries for UK, US and international companies. He has been able to use this experience to assist Technology Partners with a business development strategy for its software division.
Nadim brings 16 years of successful management and operational experience gained in the Semiconductor field primarily in the United States. Over his career, Nadim's roles and responsibilities have evolved from engineering (design, R&D, investigative due-diligence) to management, marketing and operations.
Nadim started his career with Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) where he was involved in design engineering the K7 Athelon processor among others. He then embarked upon various startup ventures in the processor and telecom arenas resulting in a number of acquisitions (Metaflow by ST, XLNT by Intel, InternetMachines by Integrated Device Technology).
Nadim's more recent roles within Technology Partners includes project managing the deployment of the world's largest WiFi network in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Nadim has also been an integral part of the on-going smart grid specification and development work addressing Abu Dhabi's utility company's requirements.
Nadim holds a Masters degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Southern California and is currently attaining his MBA from the London Business School.
Christo is the Vice President in charge of the Software Services Division at Technology Partners and is responsible for Software development, ERP services including projects, development and support, the Project Management Office (PMO), and all related services.
Christo brings almost three decades of experience in the IT sector across a variety of industries including Oil and Gas, Utilities, Telecommunications, Metals and Government. He has been responsible at a senior level for managing complex, turnkey projects with customers such as Emirates Aluminium Company, Marafiq Power and Water Utility Company and the Government of Zambia. In addition, he has taken a strategic role in software and systems development to integrate ERP solutions with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for a multinational Mining, Oil and Gas Company and other industries, like Automotive and Metals. He has delivered complete end-to-end Business Process Re-Engineering for a large automotive components manufacturer, and is experienced in establishing and managing the Project Management Office (PMO) for several customers including the South African Space Agency.
A subject matter expert in SAP, Christo holds an MSc in Information Technology and Systems Engineering, a BSc in Management Information Systems, an Operations Diploma in Telecommunications, and several certifications in Public Relations, Quality Control, and General Management Development.
Marwan Mousfi has delivered technology as a business enabler since the early 1990s overseeing the implementation of new technologies that solve real business problems. His experience covers industries such as telecommunications, logistics, oil & gas, digital media and newspaper publishing in EMEA. He has a background in software solutions and was self-employed for 12 years prior to joining Technology Partners.
Marwan is self-motivated, determined and client focused, winning ongoing business with a range of clients including: Cap Gemini, Ernst & Young, Accenture, Nokia, The Reservoir Group and Media Communications Group.
Marwan's first university degree was in Business Administration at the American University of Beirut, he went on to earn Computer Science qualifications in the UK and later in his career specialized in Object Oriented Information Systems through a Master's program while working in the ICT industry in the UK and Europe.
Tony joined Technology Partners in 2011 and brings 15 years of successful financial management experience. Prior to Technology Partners Tony held a number of management positions in MTI, a leading European ICT systems integrator, culminating in the position of European Finance Director and leading an MBO of the European division of the company.
Most recently Tony has been CFO in successful turnaround and rapid growth IT businesses in Europe and throughout MENA and has extensive experience in restructuring and fund raising.
Tony holds a Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Management Accounts, FCMA, and also a Chartered Global Management Accountant, CGMA.

With over 8 years of experience in the field of HR and recruitment, Melanie Rowlands brings a decade of experience across the Middle East engineering, logistics, transport and recruitment sectors, covering the design, implementation and management of the HR function.
Melanie is CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) qualified which she applies to her role, leading development at Technology Partners and ensuring global best practice in HR across the organisation.
Melanie joined Technology Partners in June 2011. She is responsible for all aspects of the HR process at the UAE head office and across TP's Iraqi and US branch offices.
