Iraq Ministry of Oil (SCOP) Nationwide VSAT Wan Infrastructure

Completed in 2010 is a major telecommunications infrastructure project for the Iraq Minstry of Oil. 35 remote sites from all over the country have been connected through a central MoO site using a VSAT Wide Area Network. Ministry applications supported include a centralised, redundant Internet service, and Ministry-wide IP telephony with unified communications. This system has also been designed to support backbone communications for a future multi-site ERP application.
